FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What surfaces will the material stick to?

Surfaces must be clean, free of dust and wax.  Smooth surfaces such as glass, gloss plastics, painted wood and laminated furniture will offer the greatest adhesion.  Porous surfaces such as unpainted MDF will require a primer to be applied.  In 9/10 cases, textured plastic will not give a good adhesion.  The easiest way to check a surface is to see how well selotape with adhere.

What kind of temperatures can the vinyl withstand?

The vinyl can withstand temperatures between -10 up to + 50 °C without problems.

How heat-resistant are vinyl materials?

The vinyl can withstand temperatures of up to 80°C for short periods of time.  We do not recommend direct contact with hot pots, pans or dishes.

Can vinyl be used in areas that have contact with water?
Yes, the material is waterproof, you may need to seal the edges with silicon or even an acrylic nail varnish or sealing pen.

Can I clean the material?
Yes, any general household cleaner can be used but warm soapy water is best, or we recomend www.vinylbully.com to keep the vinyl looking its best always.

Will it cover doors that have been painted?

Depending on how good the paint is we can wrap them, however we would like to do a test patch first.

What sort of condition will it leave after its been removed?

There is a possibility that some colour may lift on wooden finishes, but as long as the kitchen has not been damaged we can return it back to how it was originally.

Guarantee

All of our products carry a 12-month warranty against cracking, discolouration, and delaminating.

The vinyl we use has a 10 year outside life so your wraps are going to stay looking good longer.

Please note that the vast majority of problems are found within the first week, like lifting or bubbles.

Because of this we only offer a six-month warranty on installation.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

We reserve the right to inspect claims under the above warranty before any settlement being authorized but we can normally fix or replace the area easily without any issues.

Damage: The risk of damaging your kitchen or furniture on installation is very low as we only have to go as far as removing doors and handles to give you a clean wrap.

We are not held responsible for any damages after the wrap has been applied or removed and will take photos and point out any damage as soon as possible.

We do offer a professional removal service.

Our guarantee does not cover kitchens or furniture that has been previously painted.
